Who Needs this Training?

Workers who install, repair, and maintain the roofs of different structures must be trained in the protection and dangers of roofing. This training program must be in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1910 and 29 CFR 1926 and must include specific information on the hazards and how to stay safe.

Dangers of Remaining Uncertified

All employees who use or are exposed to the hazards present when performing roofing operations must receive training associated with roofing. If training is not administered or other safety measures are not taken, injuries and possible fatal situations may occur.
