Who Needs this Training?

Workers who handle, cut down, process, and transport mature trees for logging purposes must be trained in the protection and dangers of working in the logging industry. This training program must comply with the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.266 and include specific information on the hazards and how to stay safe.

Dangers of Remaining Uncertified

All employees who are exposed to the hazards of logging must receive training associated with logging. If training is not administered or other safety measures are not taken, injuries and possible fatal situations may occur.
