Rivian Automotive LLC has just signed up with ISN® for its Normal, IL location. Rivan has been a member of ISNetworld® since 2021 and is one of 700 hiring hiring companies who use the ISN® contractor management platform.
Rivian Automotive was founded in 2009 and specializes in the production of electric vehicles. Established as Maintstream Motors and later renamed Avera Automotive and then finally Rivian Automotive in 2011, the company focused on autonomous and electric vehicles. In December of 2017 Rivian came out with an electric five passenger pickup truck and an electric seven passenger SUV, named the A1T and the A1C. By 2018 the company had 250 employees and by 2019 had over 750 employees. Today Rivian employs over 9000 employees thus have had tremendous growth over the last few years.
ISNetworld® is an industry leader in supply chain risk management. Established in 2001, ISN® currently has over 700 hiring clients and 70,000+ contractors in the network. ISNetworld® streamlines the contractor management and contractor prequalification process. Rivian Automotive contractors will need to sign up with ISN® to be considered in the contractor selection process. There is a fee associated with ISN® membership but Rivian Automotive believes the benefits outweigh the costs by far. For contractors who already have an existing ISN® account, no additional fee is required, but will need to make sure they are connected with Rivian Automotive within ISN®. Contractors will need to complete the following:

- HSE (Health, Safety and Environmental) Questionnaire
- HSE Written Programs
- OSHA Forms
- Experience Modification Rate
- Other documentation as required
