Nucor Vulcraft is one of the most recent companies to join ISNetworld®’s contractor management platform. According to their website, Vulcraft is the largest producer of open web steel joist and joist girders in North America. It is among the safest, lowest cost, and most productive steel products companies in the world. It also is one of the oldest operating divisions of Nucor Corporation.
Vulcraft built its reputation making the highest quality steel joists and deck from post-consumer scrap steel. The parent company, Nucor, is the largest recycler in the United States. All the Vulcraft divisions throughout North America have a strong commitment to the communities and the environments where facilities are located.
ISNetworld® is an industry leader in supply chain risk management. Established in 2001, ISN® currently has over 700 hiring clients and 70,000+ contractors in the network. ISNetworld® streamlines the contractor management and contractor prequalification process. Without companies like ISN®, it is likely that hiring companies would struggle to organize the process of contractor information management. Partnered with ISN®, companies can spend more time on things to grow their business and less time vetting their contractors and suppliers.
Nucor Vulcraft contractors will need to sign up with ISN® to be considered in the contractor selection process. There is a fee associated with ISN® membership but Nucor Vulcraft believes the benefits outweigh the costs by far. For contractors who already have an existing ISN® account, no additional fee is required, but will need to make sure they are linked up with Nucor Vulcraft within ISN®. Contractors will need to complete the following:

- HSE Written Programs
- OSHA Forms
- Experience Modification Rate
- Other documentation as required
Contractors will have until April 30th, 2022, to complete all required items and gain compliance with Nucor Vulcraft within ISN®.

Ongoing management – because even when you’re done, you’re never actually done in ISNetworld®, JJ Safety offers annual account management services. We keep your account completely up to date by completing monthly, quarterly, and annual statistical updates as well as new programs, safety training, and other requirements added by your customers.
